LDAR

LEAK DETECTION AND REPAIR (LDAR)

Alliance Technical Group provides nationwide LDAR. Our national network of resources allows us to provide end-to-end support and LDAR management for our customers. We are dedicated to streamlining your program from start-up through completion by pairing site-specific requirements with cost-effective solutions, all without increasing the risk of non-compliance.

DEDICATED COMPLIANCE TEAM

Alliance’s dedicated 10-member compliance team focuses solely on audits, QA/QC and compliance reporting. This team not only assures compliance through their expertise and experience working with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) but also utilizes proprietary tools to mine historical data to predict and pinpoint where leaks happen, saving time, costs and reducing overall emissions.

THE TECH METRIC – PROVIDING OPERATIONAL TRANSPARENCY

Alliance has a composite scoring system comprised of algorithms that use predictive analytics to rank technicians monthly and determine daily work quality. This provides the unique ability to determine how effective each technician is at capturing fugitive emissions and providing a benchmark for facility-wide monitoring quality. The algorithms allow us to coach and teach in real time without compromising performance. Each technician’s work is evaluated monthly, and the work quality outcomes are discussed with supervisors and technicians to develop dialogue for future performance techniques.

The accuracy of predictive analytics has, for Alliance, become a cornerstone for compliance. Each technician gets a technician rating in our program, covering dozens of key performance indicators. With our Method 21 monitoring, these KPIs and leading indicators ensure that our monitoring data is the cleanest and most precise in the industry.

IN-HOUSE EQUIPMENT SUPPORT

Alliance has implemented a priority repair process to eliminate downtime and enhance efficiency. Our internal equipment repair department oversees the preventive maintenance and repair of company equipment and machinery, analyzing for any malfunctions and immediately repairing faulty components to avoid interruptions in productivity. Turnaround time on an analyzer repair is usually the same day or the next day, depending on volume. In addition, we can provide loan equipment if the site’s equipment requires extensive repairs.

Many businesses in the petrochemical industry rely on rapid responses from Alliance’s Tracer Gas Testing Division to pinpoint leaks in various hydrocarbon and chemical systems using the Helium Mass Spectrometer Leak Detection Method.

As a leader in the leak detection field, we often discover leaks after other NDT methods have failed (such as X-Ray, PT, UT, MFE, MT). Our testing helps find leaks in the following equipment before it becomes a safety, environmental or operational liability:

  • Heat Exchangers
  • Piping
  • Storage Tanks
  • Refrigeration Systems
  • Pressure Vessels
  • Furnace Tubes
  • Hot Taps
  • Underground Piping
  • Vacuum Systems
  • Generators and Compressors
  • Steam Turbines
